gs 550 bigger pistons?

Is it possible to put the cylinders, pistons and other necesary parts from Suzuki GS 750 (or GS Suzuki gs 650) to 550? Whether is it possible to be done or just put bigger bore to originaly 550 cylinder?
all that for the purpose of increasing power of course.

Not from a 750, but there are multiple threads on doing 650 jugs and pistons...

I've heard of people over boring 650 cylinders and installing them on a 550 but there are "issues".

Sounds like a lot of work and expense to make an old bike slightly faster. If you want truly fast, I recommend a larger and/or newer bike.

Something like 40% more powerful, do a little research.

The 550 goes to 699cc, with a better more efficient combustion chamber design, and bigger ports and carbs. The anemic 550 becomes a rocket while maintaining it's light weight, shorter wheelbase and six speed transmission.

I'll let you know as soon as my cylinders and head arrives.
