JT sprockets

Anyone using the JT name brand sprockets you see all over e-bay.

If so are they any good, bad, long life, etc.

Getting ready to buy sprockets and all I see in the search is a ton of references to Z1 but not any manufacturer names.

I will probably buy my front sprocket from Z1, but I changed my rear wheel to a GSXR wheel and will need to get the rear sprocket elsewhere.

Oh and I am running a DID 530 chain.

Any help opinions experience would be appreciated.

I think JT makes fine sprockets. A cut above generic sprockets like Emgo or similar (which is what Z1 sometimes ships) in terms of finish. I can't compare in terms of longivity but JT has been around for a while so I expect their quality to be as good as anyone.

The sprockets I received from Z1 were JT. No problems with them my end so far...

Okay cool, I probably should have asked the first time but any concerns with the JT sprockets on high HP out put engines say 180-200HP. I will be using a DID ZVM2 chain
which if a remember correctly is rated at 10,370 lbs. I just dont want to have a strong chain but weak sprockets.

I think the only way you're going to have a weak sprocket is if you have a damaged one, or and old one. So long as it's new, you should be fine. I've heard that some brands sprockets wear faster than others, but that's more a longevity issue that a strength issue. But, I've only got my own intuition to go on, and my very limited personal experience. Personally, I'd wait for Rapid Ray, or some of the other drag racers to chime in, especially since you're looking at the business end of 200 hp.

That's a seriously expensive chain! Good stuff I'm sure.

Again, I think JT is decent but if you want "the best", not sure. Vortex sprockets are reputed to be really nice so you might want to dig around for some more information just to be safe.
