    Turn key,push starter,RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

    Sounds like I broke the starter clutch. Are they rebuildable... Off to the search button I go... And it was to be the first time at the drag strip. Hope a puller from work works...

    By the time they sound like that, the "rebuildable" phase is past, but they are "replaceable".

        Just to let you guys know, I sheared the 3 bolts that hold the starter clutch to the gear... Ray knew right away what was wrong. Borrowed the Suzuki tool and some heat and the rotor came off nicely... working on getting out broken pieces of the bolts... all should be good soon...
