    clutch cable question

    Good afternoon,
I forgot to take pictures when I took off the clutch cable.

end 1 - screw mounting point.
    end 2 - smooth metal.

Looking at the mounting points on the clutch lever, it requires a screw, and so does the mounting point for the clutch casing.

    Am I missing something here?

    -wil

    thanks for the help.

there should be a slotted rod with a big jam nut on it that the clutch cable runs through. This is so you can fine tune the clutch set from the seat. If yours is missing i have one you can have for free..just need shipping address. Check out the parts fiches on bikebandit.com or babbits and you will see whats missing. Let me know. Also there should be a dust boot that fits over the jam nut, but i dont have that.

I would rather trust my bike to a "QUACK" that KNOWS how to fix it rather than a book worm that THINKS HE KNOWS how to fix it.
