odd click when ridding

I haven't been able to isolate this sound, and it isn't consistent. Seems to be coming from the right side. Usually in lower RPMs. It just started, and won't happen unless I'm ridding.

Starter clutches on the way out are known to make noise but that's on the left side. Right side noises...not sure. The clutch hub nuts are known to come loose occasionally so it could be relalated that maybe.

make a video of it, try to capture the noise from different angles to pinpoint where it's coming from. is it a fast noise? does it go faster with higher rpms, or is it about the same? there are a lot of videos on the internet for noises, maybe one of them match what you're having in case you can't upload one.

I am having a similar sound coming from my 1100gk. It sounds like a clank-clank-clank until I hit 3k or so. The noise sounds like it should not be coming from a bike and kind of reminds me of something you would hear out of a diesel type truck almost.

I am guessing it is something to do with the clutch, any ideas what to look for?

Usually if there's a clutch problem you'll have trouble like slipping or not disengaging.
It is possible you may have a broken fiber plate -but if the clutch nut is loose but not totally off it can sound like that.
The ballrace on the right hand end of the crank takes the side thrust from the primary gears - if it has a pitted race it makes very odd noises.
Had an 1100 down 3 times before tracking that one down...

Preignition? Don't use so much throttle below 3k.

I'm not sure how to test the clutch. Only thing I can suggest is removing the rotor and clutch and checking everything out visually.
