Gs1150 Rotor Puller

I have a Rotor I need to pull off a Gs1150 crank since the starter pins broke and the starter wont engage,IIRC the big end 1150 cranks need another type of puller than the 1100s,also how would I tell the 1150 crank from an 82 1100 with out being deep inside the engine?,any help would be wonderfull.Thanks

80-82 1100=small left side taper/large threaded puller.
83-86 1100/1150= large left side taper/small threaded puller.

If you have access, the wrist pins on a 1150 are 20mm and the 1100 are 18mm
