Clutch cable 80 550L

Hey all... So TCK is at work and I am trying to put my clutch cable back in.

I looked at a tutorial on BassCliff's site, but I can't take the laptop out to the garage with me because I lose my wireless connection... Anyhaps, on with my dilemma.



The spring (circled in yellow, I just replaced) however, the nut (circled in red) I installed with the slotted side facing inward. Is that incorrect/will it cause a problem?

The nut circled in RED can go in either way. You are aiming for a straight pull on the inner cable so position the nut whichever way gives the best pull.
