    whats the engine? all alumn

    basically this might be a stupid question but im just trying to make sure. any one out there know if the engine case is cast or from a billet. need to know what metal is in the engine . i have an old one im gonna scrap and iwant to make sure i get the right metal in the right place.

      How cool would it be to have a motorcycle engine with the crankcase hogged out from billet!

        You can, but a Top Fuel Bike engine might not be street legal.

            If you dream of billet pieces, and you have 10 minutes, and you are a motor head, you have to see this. I bought a 4 axis VMC from these guys and this is a 5 axis VMC cutting out a V8 engine block from a solid block of aluminum.

                    Technically speaking, I think the proper term for the material is MAZAK or ZAMAK, depending on which side of the ocean you are on.

                      Very cool, thanks! One miscalculation = some very expensive garbage...would make a great coffee table, though.
