i got a gs700e engine on a shifter kart frame,i started to get the motor running and all,i was going to drive the kart but i dont know how to get this clutch to adjust i know u can screw out the thing on the pretch but it dont seem to do it, will it need a new clutch or is there another adjustment somewhere.i see some thing on the sporket cover.let me know something asap thanks alot. i can sen d pics also if needed.

There is also an adjuster on the countershaft sprocket cover. I HIGHLY recommend you go to basscliff's site & download a manual to help you. Welcome to the site. Ray. -
worm gear!
remove small cover.
loosen jam nut.
run in center stud till it touches lightly.
back it out 1/2-1 turn.
take box end wrench while holding stud with a screw driver and jam nut down.
make any other adjustments for free play only.Comment
