    bandit1200 head on 1150

I have a 85 1150 that the cams froze up in and tore up the cam saddles and caps. I also have access to a good bandit 1200 head. Would this be a good economical swap and what would I need. I have read other threads on this for 1100's but not an 1150. What do y'all think?

on an 1100 you need 1150 studs and head retainer nuts, so I would think that it would be easier on your 1150

Appreciate the input guys. So I do not need longer studs the 1150m head bolts should work, I know the 1100.s need the longer bolts?

I've never heard of if tell you the truth. I've got an oil cooled slingshot gsxr750 head in my shed that I am thinking about installing on my 1100. Much smaller combustion chamber, bigger valves, better cams etc.
