    i've had a locked up motor on my '79 850... it's been soaking in ATF/mystery oil for almost a year now. One of these days I'll get to it to see if it has freed up by now.

        Ah now i see where that was going.

        In my experience after 172C i could force a liner out with a few light taps with a dead blow hammer.

        Once the temp reached around 200 both liners fell out and scared the crap out of me :P
