i've had a locked up motor on my '79 850... it's been soaking in ATF/mystery oil for almost a year now. One of these days I'll get to it to see if it has freed up by now.

Not sure Tom, put them on my BBQ and the liners fell out before I could get a good gauge on the temp. My guess is 320 F or there abouts.
In my experience after 172C i could force a liner out with a few light taps with a dead blow hammer.
Once the temp reached around 200 both liners fell out and scared the crap out of me :P
