    clutch problems

    hi everyone,
    i just replaced my friction plates on my 81 gs 750 and now wheni install the cover plate back on making sure everything in align the clutch has no tension on it, is this because there is no oil in there yet or did i do something wrong?

    you did something wrong tear it apart and look at the exploded view online or in the manual

      You need to make sure the gears meshed when you put the cover on and that the arm where the cable connects to is in the right position.

      1985 GS1150ES stock with 85 Red E bodywork.
