I knew my clutch was adjusted properly and I'd already replaced half my springs with EBC last year, but it was still happening. So when I did an oil change today I decided to pull everything apart.
I found that three of the springs were quite loose. I'd torqued everything to spec when I put it all back together last year, so I'm wondering if the old OEM springs didn't have enough tension on them thanks to the EBCs, allowing them to loosen up?
Regardless, I checked my fibers and they're all within spec and there didn't seem to be any glazing. Scuffed the fibers with 1000 grit wet and the metal plates with 600, and checked them all to make sure they weren't warped.
Sadly, I have an appointment now so I can't go for a ride, but I'm hoping this will make a substantial difference.
