    What part is this?

While cleaning my bike today i found a part that was not connected to anything. It was to the left of the battery and just bouncing around. It is black about 2in tall 1in wide and 1 in thick. I think it is made of some type foam. Just wondering what it is and where it goes? If you need a picture i can get one up later.

    Thanks,

The 650 katana??? is it dense foam, or soft? Does your battery fit snugly in the battery box?

Yup, it sounds like padding from inside the battery box

Sounds to me like a battery fluid gauge thingie. But what do I know?

          Pics would help.

            A starter dampener?
Is it bigger than a bread box?

That's mighty small bread you have there, Chef.
