    Part number? GS1100 Gear

Hey I am trying to find the part number for the gear that is inside the rear hub of a GS1100 that interacts with the spline in the rear wheel.

I don't know if it will be easier to just buy the entire thing. Problem is its heavy and apparently will cost a million bucks to ship *not really but yah know*.

If you visit bikecliffs site and download the parts catalog you will be able to find numbers for EVERYTHING. You can aquire a factory manual while there. If you are talking about replacing the final drive gear SET (not sold individually b/c they are machined together), you would have to reset bearing preload, possibly replace seals, ect. could be kinda intense.

I bought the enitire housed assembley on ebay for like $40. Three nuts and your done! (Don't forget honda moly on the splines)

27300-45831 is the one for my 1100glz. You didn't give the year of yours.

    Good luck
