    1980 1100E head gasket question

My old gasket was badly leaking so I got a new one. They are both the layered metal kind. The old one has the rubber o rings 8 total , two in each corner and the rubber ring around the cam chain slot. I do not know if these 9 mentioned "o rings" were built into the gasket or placed in during assembly and now "set" or "fused" into/onto the old gasket. They seem built in.
Anyways, the new metal layered oem gasket does not have any of these rubber parts. I do not see them on the parts fische.
Do I need them? or any other "silicone in the corners" or any other 1100e base and head gasket installation tricks I may (and probably am ) unaware of?

Install dry and you don't need any o-rings. Follow the torque sequence from the manual.
Use some large hose clamps to compress the new rings. Hone the cylinders to break in the new rings. Don't forget to set the ring gap.
Change the o-rings in the two front center head bolts.
Change the cam chain tensioner gasket
Change the four outer valve gasket o-rings (they look like washers)

The o-ring I'm talking about is right above the rectangular cam ends that bolt into the valve cover.
