Oil sight glass part # ???

    Oil sight glass part # ???

    Have been searching and cant find a part number for the sight glass and seal..anyone have it written down? Seems one of the skunks has decied to give up the ghost thru the seal.
    MY BIKES..1977 GS 750 B, 1978 GS 1000 C (X2)
    1978 GS 1000 E, 1979 GS 1000 S, 1973 Yamaha TX 750, 1977 Kawasaki KZ 650B1, 1975 Honda GL1000 Goldwing, 1983 CB 650SC Nighthawk, 1972 Honda CB 350K4, 74 Honda CB550

    I would rather trust my bike to a "QUACK" that KNOWS how to fix it rather than a book worm that THINKS HE KNOWS how to fix it.

      I have one still in it's plastic bag with #11971-45010 on the label, hope that helps.

        Is it the entire assembly or just the seal?? What all there??

          Chuck,
          I did a reverse part search on Boulevards Suzuki's site for part number
          11971-45010, it's the lens, (Lens, Oil Level Check) $9.68! Now if you could get a part number for the seal, I checked several bikes over several years and they just don't break it down from the clutch cover.

            Thanks Steve. I was planning on using the sockets to press it out and HOPEFULLY NOT fracture the glass..so the most important thing is to find that seals elusive number.

              Mustang...was wondering if that package just has the glass or if theres a seal in there as well..Just called Boulevard and the parts guys didnt know either.
