I can shift into 3rd, but it won't stay in gear. If I shift into it, it will pop out unless I do 1 of 2 things.
A. Shift into 3rd, then 'downshift' but hold the shifter down.
B. Shift into 3rd without using the clutch and keep the gas on. Right when I let up on the throttle so there is less friction on the gear, it will pop back out.
I've gotten used to skipping from 2 to 4, but I really would like to fix this. Someone had mentioned that it might be a bent shifter fork, but I have no idea. This winter I would like to fix the issue(Since I would have to split the case to do much with it), but I want to be sure I know what the issue is before I go into it.
I also have a hard time finding N. Its usually a little easier when the bike is warmed up, but even then it is still a pain. I usually have to be completely stopped, then play with the throttle to get the right speed.
