The PO had made alterations to the photo changing the positioning of exhaust and intake on cylinder 2 and 3 i.e. intake on 2 to be at position D rather than C, exhaust on 2 to be position C rather than D, intake3 to be position C rather than D and exhaust to be D instead of C. I found this strange as there was no explanantion but checking against my 550 manual, the altered positioning agrees with it.
As I had completed the 550 some weeks ago and it runs fine I decided to follow the altered positioning.
I didn't get a chance to test it yesterday when completed but did this morning and I now have a very loud ticking that was not present before. All of the valves had been tight and I adjusted them to.12mm which is in range.
Obviously, I am going to have to redo them but I'm now a bit confused as to what positining I should be following.
Any help or guidance would be much appreciated as I have the 750 for sale and people coming to view it this week.
