Tonight I have a look at the bike and what do I see but the speedo cable is detached from the gear drive on the axle.....WTF???? It gets worse.............I go to put it back on when I realise there is no inner cable I lost it somewhere on the ride

Sheit, if it wasn't for bad luck , I'd have no luck at all.

I think I better quit riding while I'm still in one piece.

I think I'm well out front in the running for GSR F-Up of the Year.

    Cheers all,

You didn't notice your speedo quit working? Or where it quit working?
I'd retrace your trip, who knows you might find it.

I had the spare tire (full sized) from the car in the back seat, along with the gas tank, front tire and front forks, a baby seat, and a 5 gallon gas can, along with a 10'x10' blue tarp that I just stuffed in there because I was too cold and wet to fold it up.

The picture was taken the day I got my bike, in the city I picked it up from.
Snow blizzard in late may, lol.
