    Taco drive problems.....

    Hi all.
    Ive rebuilt my gs850 engine but didnt have a tacho drive, so i left it out...
    Ive tried to plug the hole.with....
    1) liquid metal (didnt work)
    2) exhaust paste (works better but not 100%)

    Is there something i can use that will seal the hole in the head?

    Has anyone got a spare tacho drive.i could buy?

    Ps. Here's a thought...
    What if i had a tube running from the head, down to the filler cap.......

    Would this work?

        Ooooh a tach drive. Doesn't Suzuki carry a part in their inventory just for that, to plug the tach drive hole>?

        Stuff I've done to my bike:dancing: 1100E front end with new Sonic springs, 1100E swing arm conversion with new Progressive shocks installed, 530 sprockets/chain conversion, new SS brake lines, new brake pads. New SS fasteners through out. Rebuilt carbs, new EBC clutch springs and horn installed. New paint. Motor runs strong.

            it's in the supermarket, comes in a little bag, ya mix it with fried ground beef. boom, delicious taco drives.

                I saw the title and thought someone was having trouble finding a Mexican restaurant. Come here, we have as many as 5 in the same shopping center. They last a few months then someone else thinks they can make it work. If I was a loan officer and someone came in asking for money to open a Mexican restaurant I'd ask if they were crazy.

                  Any chance any of that stuff could have gotten into the head? I think that wouldn't be good...
