    will the head on a 1984 gs750es fit my gs750lt



    My father has a contaier coming over in a in a few days and i want to try and stuff a cheap parts motor in it to get me going on my bike.... I either want to buyu a complete unit and have extra parts or just the head any suggestions money and time are pressing the limits thanks!
    my bike is a well used 1980 750 L with the square cam covers 16v

    If the head gaskets are the same part number, yes.
    I certainly would think so anyway.

      Parts would not interchange, Head ? Maybe.. You could put that 84 motor in your 80 bike

        They are not interchangeable. At least not without a LOT of work. The 83 head & cams are oiled from oil lines going from the cases to the head. The 80-82 heads are not. The cylinder spacing is the same but that's it.
