GS850 final drive/diff/bevel box oil leak..

    Hi

I have a leak from the diff on the back wheel of my GS850G, is this an easy fix? The manual says I need a special tool - it looks like some kind of drift to me, which I can hopefully easily manufacture myself. Is there a tutorial somewhere to help me out?
As well as the 850 (with sidecar) I have just purchased a GSX110 with sidecar attached. The link shows what we here in the wild west of Australia can do with Suzuki's..
    cheers!

If you look in the factory service manual, it will show you the procedure for the final drives seal replacement.

Service manual is available here> http://www.mtsac.edu/~cliff/storage/...nual_HiRes.pdf

I had the same thing happen to my 850 a while back. Looking into a fix I soon realized it was much more cost efficient and less work to simply replace the entire diff.
Bought a part from a forum member for a very good price.
      Been fine since.

Tried to open the link, but got a message that it is blocked on copyright grounds in USA.
