    D Dowels and Big Block

OK, do I just remove the original round dowel pins from the stock head when installing my new big block? Or where do I find half concave dowel pins to fit the big block?

      Or...........
You can get the solid "D" shaped pins the GSXRs used. Those are what I use. Ray.

solid dowels have no ho or hoe..lol
1150 and GSXR didn't have the out bound 6mm bolt holes.

hold the side of your dowel against a grinder till you get the right shape.

          How much to grind?

Grind the entire side off? Or just the lower half that fits in the block and leave the upper half round for the head?
