I wonder if any of you guys can identify the noise that my GS1000 is making, I have included links to 3 videos so you can listen. The noise seems to be only at low revs and tends to clear when the revs rise. Would greatly appreciate your thoughts Suzuki GS1000 video 1 Suzuki GS1000 video 2 and finally Suzuki GS1000 video 3

Sounds like a rattling clutch hub. Do a search for "GS1000 clutch rattle" for all the info you can stand.
Nice bike BTW. -

I was wondering about the clutch, it does seem to be coming from the left side of the engine, made me wonder about the rotor, what do you think?Comment

Many thanks 80GS1000, when taking off the clutch housing and dismantling the clutch will there be indications of the suspected problem with the clutch hub. By the way love your GSComment

I really appreciate all the help that has been given. I think what I will do first, is remove the clutch cover and strip down the clutch and inspect all the components as a starting point and keep you all posted.Comment

Here is the video link http://youtu.be/N3Hmk1nkKoc there is movement in the 3 thicker springs you can rotate them with your fingers, presumably you should not be able to move them right?. The thinner springs are tight.Comment
