    Piston ring size

Whats the standard replacement piston ring size for 82 gs 850? All the part stores I look up keep giving me 1mm over. Just making sure. . . .

You should see 3 ring options. Std for standard, .5 for first over size and 1.0 for third if I remember right

You want the standard size ring if you are just going to give it a light honing. The over sized rings are used only if your actually going to have it machined. Definitely do the base and head gaskets as well as valve seals while your in there

If you do go with oversized rings remember you will need the pistons to match.
