I'm going to replace the springs on my clutch. Any specific brand to use/not to use? I see a few different brands.. I don't mind a stiff spring...

are you speaking of basket/backing plate springs or the 6 springs in the pressure plate?

Yes sorry, I was referring to the pressure plate springs.. I'm getting some clutch slip at higher rpm.. They probably need to be replaced.. I'll mic the friction plates and see if they need replacing too.Originally posted by blowerbike View PostComment

try to dig your thumb nail into the fibers..if its chard/hard its time for a new set of OEM fibers no matter what the measurement....just no grip left and only way to make them not slip is more spring pressure.Originally posted by evh View PostComment
