    1100 oil filter cover modification

I have been told that it is possible to modify an 1100's oil filter cover to resemble the 1150's cover for redirection of oil to the cooler. I've got the cooler setup but not the 1150 cover. Is there a mod or is the 1150's cover a must?

It is not a mod to the cover itself, it is placing a restriction in the line feeding the cover. Here is the mod

Welcome. With 1150 covers being made of gold these days it is a worth while mod.
The banjo bolts and crush washers are still available from Suzuki. I highly recommend using a new set of crush washers if you already have the banjo bolts.
I made my own custom stainless steel lines using Earl's fittings, btw. Looked a lot better than stock, and allowed me to run the lines where I wanted them to go.
        Best of luck.

I noticed the 1150 covers were getting a fair bit of coin on the eBay market. I've got 8 new crush washers coming in at the dealer. Again, I appreciate the link for the mod. I had thoughts of welding up and grinding the 1100 cover. The plug is quick, clean and neat.
