I was removing the old pistons on my GS750E 1981 mod. And one of the clips fell in to the motor. I cant see it, and I have no idea how to get it out.

How about the sump? In case flashlight and magnet do not work.
Can I flush it out with som diesel?Comment

try the magnet and FLASH LIGHT first. if that dosent work then drop the sump.1978 GS1085.

As Agemax says, if you drop the sump you likely will still have to fish about with the magnet. If it fell in the cam chain you will find it in the v from the top.
A good idea is to stuff a clean rag in the top of the crankcase to stop stuff falling in.sigpic

Flexible magnet is how I found mine, I had rags in all the holes, (lost it when it sprang out and had no idea where it went) it fell in there when I removed the rag.Comment
