    link count question

OK I took my bike apart to redo it. I did not measure the distance from sprocket to axle centers to get a link count for a 530 chain conversion. I am going to go with an 18 t front and a 48 on the rear . Anyone know the chain length I would need? I am looking at a 120 link chain. Thanks

When I did my conversion, I ordered a 116 link chain, had to cut a couple links off of it to make it just right. I would rather have a too long of a chain then too short and adjust it to the length you need. Adding links isn't too cool.

I did the same. If I remember correctly I cut off two links to make it a 114 chain. (you can't cut off only one link. There are no odd number link chains)
