    1150 clutch

Just had my 1100/1150 certified that I am giving to my dad and the bikes ready to go but the clutch pull is a bit hard for him. He won't be hard on it so what springs would be a direct fit and soften the pull?

Does it have aftermarket clutch springs? Aftermarket ones tend to be significantly stiffer. If you have those you can either swap out three of them (or all of them) for stock springs to soften the lever action somewhat.

Lube the cable? Get a new cable?

If it's harder to pull while running in gear than sitting still in neutral, it could be that the clutch basket or hub is worn.

A lot of the 1100's end up with stiffer springs to prevent clutch slipping, so be wary before replacing those springs. Start with the external parts like eil suggested. Good advice.

It's possible they are aftermarket springs. Guess I will pull the cover for a peek. Cable is reall good and lubed.

Gold springs? Put a set of stockers so she is nice and easy again
