Cant find the thread on cam cap mod

Someone a while ago posted a thread on doing a mod to the cam shaft caps to shim them for the cam walk ticking...I have went back to threads from 2/12 and cant seem to find the thread.

Does this sound familiar to anyone ( or the original poster ) and could you post a link to the thread??

I think maybe my next project when I pull the engine from the 77 750 for a repaint and new valve stem seals will to also finallyn tackle the ticking. I place my stehescope on the cam end covers and the exhaust cam is noticably louder and you can hear the ticks.

This is the stehescope i have..great little tool for zeroing in on little noises

I should have thought to check Cliffs pages..but i think this was not from 07..like maybe less than a year ago that he had posted.

Its just that little tick that I have been "used to" for quite a whikle now. Bike has just over 38,000 and runs like new. I had told myself that when I yank the engine for some minor needs I will do the mod as well.

Will be several months down the road, but I like to refresh the brain cells and do some research for preperation.

Note to self..check Cliffs page first..its not just for newcomers!!!
