Your L will turn a couple hundred RPM higher than a G because it runs a 16 in rear tire, the later GK run a 16 inch wheel also but have a higher geared final drive 2.91 instead of the more common 3.091984 GS1100GK newest addition to the heard

About the same way you do anything else on your bike.Originally posted by Charger739 View PostHmm how do you go about syncing the carbs
Go to BassCliff's "little" website.
About 2/3 down the left column, you will see Carb Notes.
Open that, then look about 1/4 down the page, you will see a section called Morgan Colortune/Carbtune Tips.
In there, you will see how to Synchronize Carbuetors.
Feel free to follow all the steps given or just play lazy and click on the links I gave you.
If you want to be as lazy as possible, just click on the last one.

Clutch plates have nothing to do with it, and no, you can not add a sixth gear.Originally posted by Gregory View PostI do not have much idea how clutch plates work, but have wondered if there is a way to add a 6th gear to these bikes? mine is a gs1000e.
