Clutch spring torque specs

Hello all. I've searched a couple of times and couldn't find the specifics for my bike, which is a 1980 GS100GL. I've seen 90 inch lbs, but is that figure pretty much universal? The thread it was in never specified what bike it was for. Any help is appreciated. Also, are there torque specs for the transmission cover?

I had no problem finding it in my manual.

Torque spec is "snug". 90 in-lbs seems a little high.

Spec is 8.0-9.5 ft-lbs, which would be 96-114 in-lbs. 90 would be a little low.

Part number says it's an M6x30 bolt.

Must be a strong bolt. That's a lot for a 6mm.

Clutch spring bolts stretch threads, so if the clutch has been out a few times, consider getting new bolts.

Note that it is INCH-pounds, not FOOT-pounds.

Usually 6mm bolts go in the 70 - 80 inch pound range.
