1981 GS750E main and rod bearing identification?

    Hey everybody,

I'm replacing the main and rod bearings in my gs and I'm wanting to verify the identification of these bearings. I thought the main bearings were pretty self explanatory they should be the black code part# 1229-45400-20 I'm sure on that part. It's the rod bearings that are confusing me, according to the manual I'm using the first 3 are the green code part# 12164-45400-010 and the last one is black code part# 12164-45400-020. Is this normal to have different bearings? It's just confusing me that the main bearings were all the same part # and the rods had one different one. Maybe I'm identifying them wrong. I just want to be sure before I order anything that it's ok for the crank to have different numbers. Thanks for any insight on this matter.

I don't know if that was confusing. The connecting rods all have the number 1 stamped on them and then their corresponding crank numbers are as follows 1, 1, 1, 2. So that last number makes one bearing different than the rest.
