starter clutch screws shearing

I replaced the 3 allen screws in the starter clutch on a 83 GS1000. The old ones had sheared off.

Less the 100 miles later .... sheared off again.
I'm scratching my head on this one.

You did use real good quality screws ? no chinese weaklings here! Lots of shock when this monster fires up- is your bike in a good tuned state, so it starts readily? Somewhere in this place ,there's a discussion regarding potential kickback on starter clutch, but my search skills are poor.

Put new STOCK Suzuki bolts in it & get it welded before you put it back on. Call me at 714--356-7845 if you need help. I can make 1570, 16-1 compression motors self starting without starter clutch issues.
