Torque spec for clutch basket nut?
I tried to look in the manual on bikecliff's site, but I can not get it to open. I need the torque value on the single large nut that secures the clutch basket.Tags: None -

They all have that, even the ones that come loose, which is a lot of them.
There's a reason people buy the super duper expensive nuts that don't come off.Comment

Ok. So I gather from your responses that I need to go buy a socket and go back in and torque it 36-50 lbs.? I want to do this correctly and I appreciate everyone's input.Comment

Probably a good idea.Comment

This thread made me laugh...I've done a Clutch Basket removal and have a torque wrench; only needed to buy the 32mm socket.
Do the job right for your safety...and so people here don't respond the way they do with your actions.
