Hi! I'm new here and bought a 1980 GS1000 G a couple of weeks ago.
The clutch rattles but when the clutch handle is pulled the rattling stops.
Either it's the big nut on the axle that have come loose or it's the springs at the back of the basket that is lame. There's also a washer at the back of the basket on the axle that could be the issue here.
I've got an old clutch from a GS850 G that I owned a couple of years ago.
Does the GS850 clutch fit the GS1000?
