    replacing my clutch '83 GS1100E

i bought an EBC SRK50 clutch kit for my '83 GS1100E

i opened up the bike and removed the old clutch

the friction plates are 2mm and the EBC are 3mm the steel plate are the same and the EBC springs are shorter?

I don't know if the bike has the original clutch or not

can some one confirm how many clutch discs, plates and how long the original springs are and also if anyone has installed an EBC clutch kit let me know

    thanks

factory 83's had 10 steels and 10 steel backed fibers.
the 83 fibers was hard on the basket.
the superseded OEM fibers offered today is what i would have recommended.
