    Tappet shims?

Hello I'm in need of some shims to adjust my valve clearance on my 1978 gs750 the shim sizes I need are 3 of 2.75mm, 3 of 2.70, 3 of 2.65, and one 2.60 I'm located in the northeast part of pa and I can pay via paypal I also have 2.90's 2.85's 2.80's if anyone needs them. If anything can someone give me some guidance on where I can find shims? Thanks

Talk to Ray (Ghostgs1) of the shim club. He will hook you up.

Z1 Enterprises has aftermarket shims. I use these.

PartsOutlaw has OEM shims. I haven't used these, but I use PartsOutlaw for all my OEM parts.

Suzuki-affiliated shops or dealerships will also have shims. Some have been known to trade shims (you give them your old ones, they give you the sizes you need). Sometimes there's a small fee ($1) for this. Or sometimes they wont do it.

Make sure you get the 29.5mm diameter shims, not the 29.0mm. Other brands (Kawasaki, Honda, etc) often use the 29.0mm.
