1150 cylinder liner O-rings
Wondering if these o-rings need to be replaced, if they're intact? I'm getting some stock liners bored and wanted to make sure.
Thanks for any advice.GS\'s since 1982: 55OMZ, 550ES, 750ET, (2) 1100ET\'s, 1100S, 1150ES. Current ride is an 83 Katana. Wifes bike is an 84 GS 1150ESTags: None

What do you mean by upper case? Oh, I get it...No I'm not machining the upper case. I'm boring the stock liner for a 1229 kit, since I could not find one "old school MTC piston stamped K". I bet one will turn up after I get the engine back together. I have one block already bored, but grenaded the #1 cylinder sleeve. I plan to bore a stock cylinder to match the pistons I recently bought and then try to find a liner for the damaged sleeve on the "now" spare block.Originally posted by blowerbike View Postif you open the upper case for larger liners then the o-rings has no affect anymore.GS\'s since 1982: 55OMZ, 550ES, 750ET, (2) 1100ET\'s, 1100S, 1150ES.
