Hey guys, i have a 79 GS750L that i'm trying to do a 530 conversion on. I put the sprocket on the countershaft, then the 6mm spacer, then the nut. I have it tightened down and when i try and put the clutch side cover on the nut hits the case where the clutch lever is. Do i have things in the right order? Or did i miss something when putting them on? Thanks!

Have you compared depth of old with spacer vs new sprocket, I've seen some 1100 sprockets that eliminate need for spacer. -
Well i measured everything with a caliper, and it appears they're the same width. It's been a while since i bought them, but i don't think i could've mixed it up and bought a 630. The chain is a 530 and everything seems to fit, so i guess i'll just use the parts i have!Comment
