Help please; 1150 cylinders stuck on chain guide!

    Hi Guys,
just in from the garage, managed to get pistons back into their holes, sooo happy...
BUT then the cylinder block would not slide down, it is getting held up on the rear chain guide..
It is now at the front end of the slot and the wider part where the tensioner seats, seems to be stopping the cylinders dropping down..
No warning about this in the manual
I tried lifting the cylinders up again to move it rearwards, but do not want those rings to come out...
It, the hole in the block, does not look any wider towards the rear; thought of trying to "twist" the guide to make it narrower, but scared 30 year old plastic will break..
Can still get to the bolt holding it in, but never removed it..
Pease tell me an easy trick.. (519.369.6816)
    I'm hoping..

Wow, panic over, just needed a cold brew and a little bravery and some gentle pushing..
    Finish tightening tomorrow
