spark plug wires

Putting wires back on GS1100E 1 and 4 spark wire go to the left coil,and 2 and 3 go to the right coil. Do anyone have a diagram

That's correct, if and only if a PO didn't swap them at some point. (Which I have seen.)

BassCliff's site should have a wiring diagram for the bike. If it doesn't, the service manual certainly does. See the link in my signature.

I run the wires as short as possible from coil to plug and clip them together where they cross or are adjacent to each other using clips made for this. This way the wires don't touch the head anywhere along their length.
