    What is this gizmo on my engine??

    I have seen this many times.can't figure it out..

      Its the flux capacitor

          Its right below the timing tensioner?
          The guy asked me, I told him I'd find out. Then he bought the bike.
          I guess I 'll change my sig now

                  Yeah maybe for an earlier version of the engine. It isn't milled to the final configuration, since it's not being used.

                      I see that now!!! just drill a hole completely thru, then a larger hole in the backside to seat the cable...
                      it's always something simple.
