    RPM drops past 8000 rpm.

I'm not mechanically inclined at all. Got a 700es a few weeks back. When the RPM hit about 8000rpm, the motor drops 2000rpm to 6000rpm.
Where should I start looking to troubleshoot this?
    Spark plugs?

The ignitor box could be failing. Is the bike stock or modified and what maintenance have you done?

The bike is stock except for a Dynajet stage 3 and KN pod.
      Thank you

Just a guess, but if you've got a stage 3 kit, stock exhaust and pods it's probably falling on it's face from being way to rich on the main jet. Do a full throttle plug chop and see what they look like.

I'm guessing the drop to 6,000 is when the clutch quits slipping.
