Oil dripping from exhaust manifold - 1980 gs550 et

There is a mix of 35, 40 and 45 mm screws on the 550 stator cover. If a 40 finds it's way into a 35 berth or a 45 to a 40, it can appear to go all the way because the holes will have end clearance. However it may be fooling you and what looks like snugging up the gasket is actually bottoming out. Seen more than one like this.

This could have been the case and could still be !
Wonder if anyone has a diagram of which goes where ?
I am a nerd and would have one if I ever get it right !

Thanks for that. I use cmsl all the time and overlooked that totally.
