    Thread lock SUPER 103K?

Suggested by Suzuki for the press fit of 2nd gear on the countershaft on GS1000. The part number for it in the Suzuki factory manual is 99000-32035, but appears to be no longer available.
So my question is, what is the recommended bearing fit/thread lock to use as an alternative?

    TIA
    1978 GS1085.

Where are you seeing that note? I see a reference to a THREAD LOCK SUPER 1363A (99104-32030) but not the number you reference.

In the Special Materials section of the manual there is also reference to various other types of thread lock: 1363C, 1332B, 1361A, 1363A. Seems a bit overkill eh?

thanks, it is available to order from Suzuki dealer but at over ?18 for a bottle i was hoping there was a suitable alternative.
I still find it hard to believe that 2nd gear is only a press fit on the shaft!

That part number is different in my version of the manual. My manual states to use 99104-32030 but that has been SUPERCEEDED BY 99000-32030, which is available.
