need help removing gearshifter drum bearing

Hello all, I'm trying to remove the gearshifter bearing on my '83 1100E and I'm having trouble. It looks like it's a flush mount so there's really nothing to grab onto. I'd like to re-use it so I don't want to destroy it. Any ideas? Thanks!

Here's a pic of what it looks like:

you will not remove it without damaging it. warm the case up and you should get enough purchase on it with a drift to tap it out, it will come out easily with hot cases but they damage easily being needle roller cages. replace it with a new one, they arent that expensive
