Will a 1200 Bandit engine fit in a gs1100 or gs1000 frame?

I have a friend who is wondering whether a Bandit 1200, C model, oil cooled, rocker arm style engine is a direct bolt up into the 82 gs1100 or a gs1000 frame?

If not what frame bolts dont line up?

Will fit but not a direct bolt in as it is narrower (l to r) and shorter (front to back ) can and has been done.see mine in my signature pic

thank you. sorry i havent been getting my notices from this forum for some reason, glad i checked back to my thread. so it sounds like you had to re-locate the motor mounts. Too bad there is not a build thread on this to show him.
